AGNES DENES

 

Agnes Denes’s sculpture The World of Thorns (1968) was acquired in 2013 by The Museum of Modern Art. It was recently on view with two large-scale drawings by the artist, also from the permanent collection. (MoMA: Painting and Sculpture II, Floor 4). Human Dust (1969), an important early sculpture by the artist, was acquired last year by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
